My first Challenge!

Since I am still fairly new at this I thought it would be nice to give myself a challenge. (Not that I have much free time on my hands, but it made it more fun knowing what I was actually going to do). I guess I also finished a page in my CURRENT life scrapbook, still to be purchased somewhere, but one page down.

This is from Challenge #30 on Cricutters Anonymous, make a woman themed project on your Cricut. What is more woman themed than a girls night! And this DCWV  all about girls stack that I just LOVE!! I guess it was a girls night because we had TWO birthday girls and we made the guys drive us!

So what cartridges did I use??
Don Juan, Designers Calender, Forever Young, and Storybook.

This was fun! I feel like I have accomplished something. Now lets get cracking on the real stuff I need to get done.

Here we go.

Three months into this I can FINALLY make something! I have started my scrapbook for college. Well, I think it is mostly going to be for my sorority. I made the title page. Here it is. Our colors are lavender and maroon so I chose to go with the lavender. I also used the cricut cartridge Storybook. I waited almost a month and half just to get this cartridge. It was on back order, but at least I got a good deal! I put Tulip glitter paint dots in sliver on the ends of each of the letters. I used DCVW Latte stack.

Once I finished this I started on my next page. I went through an album and found pictures from our house formal in 2004. I only had 4 pictures that looked decent. Bummer that I didn't have a digital camera back then, I would have had like a million pictures from that night. But life goes on. I bet I probably had a few more, but I am sure I threw them away cause there were pictures of my ex in them. The formal page I used the Hannah Montana Cartridge for the font, and I also cut out the rose from the cartridge as well. I used the DCWV La Creme stack for the paper.

So for now this is what I have. I guess I will try to get some more done later this week or next weekend! Two pages down, like one hundred left to go!
