Sunday Card Day - PDCC#53

So I never make cards, but I found out yesterday that one of my friends from college got engaged! So I thought it would be fun to make her a card, and do a challenge as well! The Play Date Café has a challenge Black white and burgundy. My thought process is simplistic. So I keep it simple, always add some bling! There is nothing better than glitter!

With the flash the burgundy faded out a bit, but I love how it turned out!

This is the close up of the “True Love” I cut this out of my SEI Chocolat Raisen paper using Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge. The black and white patterned paper is doodlebug paper.

More to come this week… I hope!

Funday Friday

I feel like the entire world is different since I last posted. I have not worked on any personal projects, and wish that I would have taken some pictures from what I did work on. As historian for my spouses club, I created a scrapbook. It turned out beautiful. I am again in position to get another one together for this next year, and I hopefully remember to take pictures of that one!!

I am currently playing with my cricut design studio. I am still absolutely clueless to what I am doing with it. I need to make mardi gras masks (100 to be exact) for TOMORROW! I can not figure out how to reproduce the image I altered to put more on a page. I am going to do some digging to see what I can come up with.

On good news, I am a housewife now! So I should be finding more time to scrapbook. I truly have a ton to do, but I am loving every minute of it. Especially sleeping in… till 8am! That is four hours I get to sleep in!! It really makes a world of a difference. Soon, I hope my husband will like that I am a housewife. It sure has been some getting used to, but I am much happier!

So in hopes that I post all the fun crafty things I will be making for the holidays, and scrapbook pages I will be making anywhere from college to present life. I hope that I learn some thing down the road, and can share my struggles of paper and glue (which is a love hate relationship), and hopefully show someone out there that if you add a little glitter, it can make the whole world smile.
