Back in the fall 2005, I met my husband. One of the first events I went to where we got dressed up was the 230th Navy and Marine Corps Birthday Ball at Iowa State University. We were both Seniors, he was in ROTC, and well, I was a sorority girl, so dressing up for events, was my thing. I had never been to one of these events, but there is a first for everything. So I decided to use my Moonrise collection from SEI.
I used Plantin schoolbook Cricut Cartridge for the font. The rest of the embellishments were all part of the Moonrise collection.
I decided to enter this layout in two challenges. The first is SEI February 2011 Challenge, based on the sketch below.
The other is the Fabulous Friday Challenge over at Frosted Designs. The challenge was to use metals. I used the metal accents from the Moonrise collection from SEI on this page.
Have a great evening.
